PSA, Suits fans: Harvey Specter is officially entering the building once again.
Fans of the former USA Network drama remember Gabriel Macht famously portraying the fictional attorney during the show's nine-season run. Throughout Suits' decade on television, folks loved seeing Harvey interact with many different personalities, including partner Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and his love interest Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty). Even though the show ended back in 2019, fans were left wondering about Harvey and if he'd ever make an appearance on the upcoming NBC spinoff series Suits L.A. premiering on February 23, 2025.
Now, we know for sure: Deadline announced on November 20 that Gabriel will step back into Harvey's shoes in a three-episode recurring role on Suits L.A. Gabriel confirmed the announcement in a surprise video on TikTok, with the clip showing the actor wearing Harvey's monogrammed button-down shirt and putting on a pair of brown wing-tipped Oxford shoes with his character's name on the insole.
"When an old friend is in need ... it's time to take care of things and make those very 'things' right," he wrote in the caption.
Gabriel's snippet teasing his reprisal of Harvey Specter in Suits L.A. quickly went viral online, and Suits fans couldn't hold back their excitement.
"EXCUSE ME?!! Donna hold my calls I’ve got a show to watch!!" one person exclaimed in the comments. "Stay calm! Stay calm everybody!!! It’s happening!!!!!!!" another screamed. "WERE SO BACK," a different follower added.
Although we don't know how Gabriel's character will be folded into Suits L.A., we're still excited to see the actor's return to the beloved show! And if there is a chance for anyone else to pop up on the show, Sarah shared she'd be delighted to come back as Donna at some point.
"I'm always happy to put on the high heels and show up and support," she told Good Housekeeping back in September."But I also can support from behind the scenes, watching and enjoying it and spreading the word."
As fans already know, Suits L.A. will center around New York prosecutor Ted Black (Stephen Amell) as he ventures to Los Angeles to continue a well-curated career reputation. But when he starts working at his new law firm, he realizes the place is in a state of crisis, leading him to embrace a role he previously never wanted to do.
Looks like we'll need to tune in to see what's coming!
