The CW show loves throwing curveballs throughout the season, and this installment was no different. Between Harry "Sully" Sullivan (Scott Patterson) being admitted to the hospital, Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray) unexpectedly returning to the Crossing after preparing to leave, and Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) returning to be by her father's side, that wasn't even the tip of the iceberg.
The whole time, we hoped that Maggie and Cal would finally get together ... except we learn that Maggie is pregnant and expecting a baby with her ex Andrew Mathews (Allan Hawco). Will this affect her future career? How is she going to decide between going to Boston and staying at the Crossing? There's so much going on here, and we desperately need to see what else is in store.

Good news, Sullivan's Crossing fans! Ahead of season 2 airing on the CW, fans learned the show will be back for season 3.

The news of another installment came after the Sullivan's Crossing season 2 finale aired in Canada back in June. In a joint post with CTV (the channel the show airs on in Canada), Chad Michael Murray and the Sullivan's Crossing Canadian Instagram account, they revealed the news with a surprise announcement.
"Back to Sullivan’s Crossing we go! 🚗🏕️," read the caption in June 2024. "@morgankohan, @chadmichaelmurray and @scottgordonpatterson return for Season 3 of @sullivanscrossingctv!"
Naturally, seeing the news of Sullivan's Crossing season 3 had folks all excited. "Excellent show, amazing cast, looking forward to more great stories in season 3! 🤩," one person wrote in the comments. "Woo hoo!!! I haven’t been this excited in a long time. Love this show!!" another declared. "Oh, wow, the best news ever!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️," a different viewer added.

While Sullivan's Crossing seasons 1 and 2 were known to air in the fall instead of alongside the show's airtime in Canada, season 3 will follow a different schedule. While the show will still air later here than for the folks in Canada, Deadline surprised viewers in March 2025 by revealing the Canadian-American drama will premiere new episodes of season 3 beginning Wednesday, May 7, 2025 on the CW Network.
And that's not all Sullivan's Crossing shared with their followers. The show also decided to drop a season 3 trailer on Instagram on April 7, giving fans something to look forward to ahead of the big premiere.

Is Sullivan's Crossing season 3 filming?
Although Sullivan's Crossing didn't exactly say anything about the show filming new episodes, Morgan Kohan alluded to an all-new installment with an Instagram post back in September 2024. Uploading photos of her family joining her in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (where the show films), she shared how she was on set with the ones she loved most.
