Who's ready to see a bit of a shakeup in Edgewater? We know one person is anticipating some change on Fire Country — and he's bringing it to the show sooner than you think.

Back in August, the hit CBS drama announced that Jared Padalecki would be joining season 3 in a pivotal recurring role. Detailing how the Supernatural alum's character would be called Camden and he'd hail from Southern California, fans were eagerly waiting to hear when they could start seeing the actor on their screens in full-fledged fire gear. Well, the wait is over, because Jared will officially debut on Fire Country starting on Friday, November 15 at 9 p.m. ET. What's more, the show decided to gift viewers with a first look at his role, posting sneak peek photos of his first episode on Instagram.

"Edgewater’s got a new face coming to town - recognize him? 😏," read the caption on October 31. "Here’s your #firstlook at @jaredpadalecki in #FireCountry!"

Given how Jared's highly-anticipated debut on Fire Country is already bringing the heat, it didn't take much for fans to be ablaze with excitement in the comments.

"This darn show just keeps getting better and better," one person exclaimed. "Welp, this is the best thing EVER!!!! 😍," another declared. "AND the show just got hotter 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!! YES!!!!!" a different viewer added.

Well, we're certainly ready to see how Jared fares on a high-stakes show like this one! Speaking of, his first Fire Country episode (titled "Edgewater's About to Get Real Cozy") will follow Three Rock and Cal Fire Station 42 jumping into rescue mode when an airplane makes an emergency landing outside of Edgewater. As far as how Jared comes into play, his character Camden will recognize Bode Leone (Max Thieriot)'s raw talent for firefighting, leading to something folks may not expect.

So, how does the cast feel about Jared being part of Fire Country season 3? When Max spoke to Good Housekeeping back in October 2024, he was thrilled to see the Walker actor join the show.

"I'm so excited about Jared stepping into the world of Fire Country," he said at the time. "Jared is a good friend of mine and we've been trying to work together for years. This was something that he and I were super excited about it, and when we knew he was a free agent for any period of time, we said, 'Hey, we got to make something happen.'"

"Jared has this magnetic quality and his character comes into the show to bring some gravitas with it," Max added. "We've had a ton of fun and I can't wait for the audience to meet him. I think they're going to love him — and I think people are going to lose their mind[s] a little bit."

We certainly need to tune in and see what all the fuss is about!
