It's official: Katie Holmes is a fashionista, and she's not afraid to show off her flair for style anywhere she goes.
The actress is currently starring in Our Town on Broadway, but she took some time away from the theater to attend the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on October 28. Given how Katie is known to add her own spin to the most popular couture trends, it was no surprise she did just that while walking the red carpet alongside Wes Gordon, the creative fashion director for Carolina Herrera.
Opting to wear a bold piece from the brand's Spring 2025 collection, Katie dazzled in a structured color-blocked gown. The top part of the dress was a rosy pink hue, which cut off at the ribcage to create two cutouts that created a backless moment. The top section also featured a simple black bow tied at the back, adding a bit of whimsy to an already memorable ensemble. As for the bottom of the dress, the structured bright red skirt reached the floor, giving the look the high-end fashion runway moment it deserved. Along with a black clutch purse, dangling jeweled earrings and her hair styled into an effortlessly chic bun, Katie was definitely the belle of the ball.
When the Dawson's Creek alum later posted photos from the event on Instagram, folks couldn't get enough of how great she looked for her moment in the fashion spotlight.

Needless to say, Katie certainly knows how to work an event, and this dress truly was everything! It was there she wore a crystal dress that left everyone speechless ... as if she didn't just do that two years later!
