Michael Strahan is celebrating an important milestone for his family, and it comes just a few months after enduring one of the hardest eras of their lives.

The Good Morning America star went on Instagram on October 28 to celebrate the 20th birthday of his twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia (whom he shares with his second ex-wife Jean Muggli). The big celebration comes just months after Isabella completed cancer chemotherapy treatment for medulloblastoma, during which Michael supported his daughter through the eight-month ordeal. As he posted photos of the family's trip to Disney World, he couldn't help but get emotional about how his youngest kids (he also shares daughter Tanita and son Michael Jr. with his first ex-wife Wanda Hutchins) were all grown up.

"Happy Birthday to my baby girls, @isabellastrahan and @sophialstrahan!" he wrote in the caption. "Canโ€™t believe how fast 20 years have passed ๐Ÿ˜… Loved celebrating at Disney and looking to celebrate many many more my loves!! Love you ๐Ÿ˜˜โค๏ธ."

Upon seeing how Michael paid tribute to Isabella and Sophia as they left their teen years behind, many rushed to the comments to celebrate the occasion with them.

"Happy happy birthday to your daughters! And many more!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‚," one person wrote. "Seems even more special! Happiest of birthdays to you both," another penned. "Happy birthday girls. Welcome to the 20โ€™s. Enjoy ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน," a different follower added.

As folks know, Sophia and Isabella have been enjoying their lives as they both headed back to college in late August. Sophia is currently a student at Duke University, while Isabella attends the University of Southern California. The news also came just weeks after Isabella gave an update on her health, which she documented on her YouTube channel.

"Great scans, everything was clear. Cancer-free," she said at the time. "Everything is great. I don't have another doctor's appointment until October. I miss my doctors already and everyone who has helped me because they're all so nice . . . Like I feel like I'm just saddened today knowing that I wasn't going to be going back for a while because I love them so much."

We wish Sophia and Isabella all the best!
