Fans are begging Kelly Clarkson to release a nursery album after her latest soul-soothing performance.

On Monday, October 7, Kelly welcomed Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto onto The Kelly Clarkson Show. During their conversation, Zachary brought out his banjo, an instrument he has been playing since childhood.

“I learned to play for my mom and she used to sing this to me when I was a little kid,” he revealed before starting to strum to the tune of “You Are My Sunshine.”

“My mom did that with me,” Kelly exclaimed with a hoarse voice. At the time, the 42-year-old singer was feeling under the weather but that didn’t stop her from joining in.

“I mean, I already feel better; I love the banjo,” she told Zachary before chiming in for a fan-approved duet.

When she posted the encounter to the show’s Instagram page, Kelly was met with endless praise. “‘I’m sick.’ Respectfully, shut up Kelly, your voice is pure magic! You are incapable of sounding bad,” one fan commented on the recap video. “Okay, so now I need a lullaby album please,” someone else exclaimed. “Even not feeling well, you still sound amazing Kelly,” another fan commented.

Could more duets be in Kelly’s future? According to The Rock, absolutely. “Beautiful from you both,” he commented on the video. “Ok, we’re singing a Christmas duet together when I come see you next month! I’ll need some tequila but we sanging.”
