For the last three decades, Jennifer Garner has been a beloved face in Hollywood. Many know her from her work in movies and television, while others know her for being vocal about motherhood and raising her three children. But she's also someone who loves to talk about her favorite beauty products, including one that's readily affordable for consumers to purchase.
Back in June 2024, the actress sat down with Good Housekeeping to talk about some of her favorite skincare essentials. One product she couldn't stop gushing about was the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cleanser, which makes sense as she is an ambassador for the brand. As she explained to us, her nightly skincare routine is to use a makeup wipe, then follow up by washing her face with the cleanser before moisturizing with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Cream With Hyaluronic Acid.
"[The cleanser] doesn't have any scent, and it starts moisturizing as you're washing your face," she told us about why she's a fan.
While the price of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Gel Cleanser is usually $15, the product is currently on sale for Amazon Prime Day. It's being sold for just $11, which comes out to 25% off. We're adding this deal to our carts ASAP!
As far as how the product works, Neutrogena's website claims it is a fragrance-free formula with Hyaluronic Acid to help lock moisture into the skin. It's also supposed to be gentle on sensitive skin, meaning those with acne or eczema can feel good about using the gentle face wash.
The cleanser is a 2024 Good Housekeeping Beauty Award winner, and clinical testing by the brand showed that it reduced irritation for those with skin sensitivity. "It fully removes makeup and SPF and leaves skin refreshingly clean yet not tight," Good Housekeeping Institute Beauty Lab Director Sabina Wizemann noted.
Customers love the product as much as we do. "I have been using this product for years - very gentle on my sensitive skin and hydrates well," one Amazon reviewer wrote. "Gentle, little to no scent, cleans my combo-to-dry skin decently without over drying. Tbh, I usually use it all over my body now!" another added.
