We're about to jump into a new TV era with S.W.A.T. season 8 airing on CBS starting Friday, October 18 at 8 p.m. ET. But ahead of the upcoming installment, Shemar Moore just excited fans with incredible streaming news.

The hit procedural drama is currently available to stream on both Paramount+ and Netflix, with the latter originally only having S.W.A.T.'s first six seasons on the site. Well, Netflix teamed up with the Criminal Minds alum to share an Instagram video revealing season 7 is now available for users to watch before the season 8 premiere.

"What's goody? What's goody?" Shemar began in the October 3 clip featuring him driving a red sports car to the show's set. "It's your boy, Shemar Moore, a.k.a. Hondo. Here come that man from S.W.A.T. October 4. It's going down. Season 7 of S.W.A.T. back on Netflix. Let's go."

As soon as S.W.A.T. fans learned that season 7 is now available for Netflix users to watch, they jumped into the comments to declare their excitement.

"Omg swat is hot on the case 🔥🔥🔥🔥," one person wrote. "Yes let’s do this thing!!! 👏👏," another exclaimed. "Yesss the best news 🔥," a different follower added.

Well, this is definitely something to celebrate before S.W.A.T. season 8 starts airing on CBS! Speaking of a new era, it also looks the team is in for a new mission when the show premieres next week.

According to an official press release, the premiere episode will be called "Vanished," and it will focus on a case that has personal ties to Hondo. As he tries to adjust his 20-Squad to an all-new member, the team will be looking for missing students and their bus driver in a race against time.

Sound the alarms, because we're going to need to see the S.W.A.T. team back on our screens ASAP!
