Guess what, Sara Haines fans? The View star is returning to a sentimental TV project ... and fans can see it so soon.
On the September 30 taping of her hit daytime morning series, Sara revealed her plans to return as a correspondent for the ABC reality show What Would You Do?. Working alongside longtime host John Quinones, she also announced a surprise about the season premiere. She shared that new episodes for season 17 will air starting Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10 p.m. ET — and she had a preview for folks to see ahead of time as well.
"Our @SaraHaines returns as a correspondent, joining host @JohnQuinones, on the new season of @WWYDABC premiering Monday, Oct. 7 at 10/9c on @ABC!" read the official caption on The View's Instagram.
Upon learning Sara would be returning for another season, it didn't long for fans' excitement to pour in on social media.
"Oh I’m so glad @sarahaines was given this opportunity. Love her and WWYD!!!" one person exclaimed in the Instagram comments. "Yaaaaaas 🙌," another exclaimed. "Thank God it came back.. I love this show.. we need to laugh again.. because everything is happening now in 🌎," a different viewer added.
As fans may remember, Sara announced her plans to be a part of What Would You Do? back in January. At the time, she was excited by the idea of working on a hidden-camera style show that examines how people would behave in scenarios that require them to either stay put or find ways to act in response. The show initially debuted back in February 2008, and the show's season 16 (which aired in February of this year) marked the first time a new episode aired since September 2020.
Well, with Sara coming back and trying her hand at something different, we're excited to see what she'll be up to next!
