In the one year since Cole Hauser announced the launch of his Free Rein Coffee company, he's managed to achieve quite a big amount of success among consumers. Well, the Yellowstone star has big news to share about the future of the business, which is going national in a way fans wouldn't expect.
On September 17, the actor and entrepreneur announced that Free Rein Coffee entered a partnership with Walmart that would allow the brand to have their products in over 1,000 locations across the United States. Additionally, folks can buy the coffee on Walmart's website as well, making it more accessible to people who haven't had a chance to try it themselves. As Cole shared with Good Housekeeping, he's thrilled by the prospect of partnering with such a well-known retailer to bring his coffee into more homes than ever before.
"We've come a long way in a very short amount of time," he told us exclusively about the collaboration. "The fact that we're now in the biggest retailer in our country — maybe even the world — and spreading the same great message that we've started with ... it's just a great acknowledgement as a team. So, I think we're all very proud."
As for what Free Rein's message entails, it's not just about getting Yellowstone fans a cup of coffee to drink while watching the upcoming season 5 part 2 (out November 10 on Paramount Network). Cole and his business partners are passionate about giving back to first responders, veterans, teachers and others making a difference in their communities. What's more, he loves to meet these individuals in real life with pop-up shops and events that cement the brand's goal of helping those deserving members of society.
It's this mentality that makes Free Rein's partnership with Walmart so special, and it's something Cole hopes to continue as the company starts planning for what's to come in year two.
"I'm hoping that as we grow as a company, those initiatives become bigger and bigger and bigger," he says. "This is what I care about and what matters to me. I want everybody to care about that too, and I feel like that has happened. Folks are seeing that people really want to help and want to support that."
Curious to try out Free Rein Coffee for yourself? Luckily, you have the option to do so, as the products start at just under $13 at Walmart. With three different blends to choose from (including Cole's personal favorite, American Dirt), now you can enjoy what Rip Wheeler drinks while working on the Yellowstone Ranch.
