So when the star shared her makeup favorites in a recent tutorial demonstrating her “classic ’90s supermodel look,” we couldn’t help but take notes. One product that stood out from the rest? In a recent video for Allure, the supermodel shared her “10-minute makeup routine,” giving fans “a modern take” on her “classic” beauty look from the ’90s. Crawford spent much of the video focusing on her “timeless” and “sexy-cool” eye look, including perfecting her eyebrows, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. Before moving on to her complexion, Crawford finished her eyes with mascara.
“Now I’m gonna have to do mascara. This is called Panorama by L’Oreal mascara,” she explains in the video. “The reason I choose mascara is always about the brush...it’s an easy brush for me to work with.”
When applying the product, Crawford makes sure “there’s plenty of product on” the wand before using a tissue to wipe off excess. “I probably waste a lot of mascara this way,” she admits. While applying the mascara, Crawford holds a small makeup compact at chin level and looks up. “I really try to start at the root and lift.”
Crawford adds that she doesn’t often apply mascara to lower lashes. “I do at shoots, I don’t for real life, because it sometimes drops and then I gotta clean it up and I just don’t like that,” she explains.
