Guess what, Valerie Bertinelli fans! Our favorite actress and culinary expert is coming back to television, and it's in a way you'll definitely be excited about.

The former Food Network star is well-known for her forays into the lifestyle space, thanks to her love of all things culinary. While she's written three cookbooks (the latest being Indulge, released back in April), now she's bringing her expertise to a brand-new audience.

In an announcement made by People on September 3, Valerie will be a part of The Drew Barrymore Show as a lifestyle expert for season 5 (which premieres September 9), joining host Drew Barrymore for regular appearances throughout the season. While it's unclear exactly what segments she'll do on the CBS daytime series, Valerie is thrilled to make her way back to television.

"I'm going to be a part of The Drew Barrymore Show. I'm going to be part of Drew Crew, and I'm super excited about that,” she told the outlet. "I absolutely adore [Drew], and all the people that work there are so flippin' cool."

Valerie wasn't the only one excited about the new prospect. Although she didn't post the news on her social media, her boyfriend Mike Goodnough made sure to reveal the news to both of their followers with a heartfelt post on Instagram.

"Congratulations, @wolfiesmom!" he wrote. "You’re going to be great on @thedrewbarrymoreshow."

Naturally, seeing how Mike shared Valerie's big career update had people bombarding him with words of excitement.

"I cannot wait! I am so excited for her ❤️❤️," one person wrote in the comments. "I’m so excited, love Drew and Val, can’t wait!" another exclaimed. "Thus sounds like a ton of fun. Talk about getting paid doing something you love. Congratulations, Valerie!" a different follower added.

We're seriously so excited for her, and can't wait to see what this adventure brings! And who knows? Maybe she'll be on our screens sooner than we think ...
