It's not every day Kelly Clarkson manages to shock people with her vocal talent ... right?

Well, that's obviously not the case, as the singer often displays during her "Kellyoke" segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show. For the July 25 episode of the daytime series, she decided to do something different. For this performance, she dipped into the catalog of a musician who comes with a similar history to her.

As Kelly appeared on camera in a white-and-red striped collared shirt, tan linen shorts and her hair blow dried straight, she paid homage to her American Idol roots by performing season 4 winner Carrie Underwood's 2012 single "Blown Away" from the record of the same name.

"'Blown Away' #Kellyoke," read the official caption for the clip posted on Instagram, while also tagging Carrie.

Given how Kelly was the original American Idol winner back in 2002, folks loved seeing her make another winner's song her own.

"I'm 'Blown Away' by Kelly’s talent 😍🔥🎤 Her vocals range emotions, she can cover any song ❤️🙌👏 Love her beautiful chic look 😍🔥," one person wrote in the comments. "Beautiful! Imagine a duet … an idol duet," another inquired. "SO GOOD!! Waiting on that country album, @kellyclarkson!!!" a different follower added.

Well, after seeing this, Kelly is truly the GOAT of daytime talk show hosts! And she clearly has an ear for choosing great songs, based on how many people continue to tune in for her various "Kellyoke" songs over the years.

In the last few weeks alone, Kelly has showcased her vocal range with a number of incredible song covers. In June, she covered her own song with a slowed down version of "Beautiful Disaster (Live)," just one month after singing "Behind These Hazel Eyes." What's more, fans couldn't stop commenting after she belted out a version of The Last Dinner Party's "Nothing Matters" in mid-July.

Can Kelly please give us a masterclass on performing? Because we may just need it after this ...
