Heads up, Wheel of Fortune fans — it won't be long until a new era is upon us!

As the hit game show transitions to Ryan Seacrest taking over for Pat Sajak as the new host, fans on social media got a look at what's to come. In a promo uploaded on Instagram on July 1, folks got to see the TV personality interact with fellow co-host Vanna White in a sketch that had him preparing for his next career role.

As Vanna coached him through various stunts (including trying to spin the iconic Wheel with makeshift bricks on it), Ryan stated his desire to prepare for his first episode.

"I can't wait to get to work," Ryan told Vanna in the short clip.

"Let's get you ready for fall!" Vanna replied back through a pink megaphone.

As longtime viewers watched Ryan get some practice in ahead of his new gig, some couldn't help but share their excitement about seeing him step into Pat's shoes very soon.

"I’m so ready for the new Wheel of Fortune season to come. I’m feeling hyped. I can’t wait. We will all miss Pat Sajak. 🙌❤️🔥," one person wrote. "Ryan perfect for this! Looking forward to it!" another declared. "I love Ryan Seacrest! I can’t wait to watch him on Wheel of Fortune every night on TV," a different follower added.

As fans may remember, Pat's final episode of Wheel of Fortune aired back in June. At the time, Ryan paid tribute to Pat's decades-long career at the podium, stating on Instagram how he "set the standard" for future TV hosts.

As for when folks can expect to see Ryan make his Wheel of Fortune debut, it's hard to tell. While the show did tease that his first episode will air sometime this fall, we'll have to keep an eye out for more updates as far as a premiere date.

No matter the case, it looks like fans will be in for an exciting new adventure!
