Ralph Macchio just took a major trip down memory lane.

The actor took a break from promoting the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai to take in the Tony Award-winning musical The Outsiders, based on the 1967 novel and 1983 film in which Ralph portrayed greaser Johnny Cade.

As folks saw a collage of photos featuring him and the stage cast on Instagam, the show's crew acknowledged how thrilled they were to have him in the audience.

"Ralph Macchio, thanks for stopping on this side of the tracks," read the caption on June 20.

When fans saw The Karate Kid actor went to see The Outsiders on Broadway, they couldn't stop commenting how cool it was to see the movie and musical worlds collide.

"What a special moment. Wow. I love the original film and him in it, and this musical looks so amazing. I hope to see it," one person wrote. "Definitely an iconic moment 🙌🙌," another declared. "That is awesome! Good for him! How exciting for you all!" a different follower added. "Epic 🙌❤️❤️," someone else said.

While the My Cousin Vinny alum was thrilled to catch a musical adaptation of the cult classic movie, no one was more excited than Tony-nominated Sky Lakota-Lynch, who portrays Ralph's role on Broadway. Posting his own photo posing next to Ralph, Sky couldn't believe who he was meeting after the performance.

"Johnny Cade(s) 💘," he wrote on June 20 on Instagram. "Love you @ralph_macchio & @julia_macchio."

It's important to note Ralph isn't the only cast member of The Outsiders film to go visit the Broadway show since its April opening. Rob Lowe (who portrayed Sodapop Curtis) took in the musical back in May, while Matt Dillon (who played Dallas "Dally" Winston) met the cast during the show's previews in early April.
