When Ginny & Georgia first premiered on Netflix back in 2021, fans immediately fell in love with the dynamic story of a mother and daughter looking to start their lives over in the fictional town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts. But what was meant to be a smooth-sailing life quickly took a massive turn, with more drama and emotional turmoil than anyone could've expected.

As season 2 dropped on the streamer, fans fell back in step with the Miller women as they watched Georgia (Brianne Howey) prepare for her wedding to Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter). What's more, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) was going through a tough time, dealing with depression, friend drama and an on-and-off relationship with next-door neighbor Marcus Baker (Felix Mallard). The Miller family's fairytale ending was shattered at the end of season 2, leaving Georgia behind bars, Ginny in shock and fans demanding answers. But don't worry peaches, where there's a will, there's a way, right?

...Right?

Even for a mama who is as clever, sharp-witted and high-spirited as Georgia Miller, it's hard to imagine how she is going to charm her way out of this one. And it's possible that things will be a little different this time. In a February 2025 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Brianne described season 3 as "the most unhinged" season yet, calling it "Georgia's breakdown season" and teasing that we'll get to see "a new side of Georgia... a new side of Ginny." Pretty shocking to hear, for a character as resilient as we know Georgia to be. What could be in store for the mother-daughter duo that we've grown to know and love? Imaginations are rampant with theories about what's in store for season 3.

The good news is, we get to find out soon. Netflix dropped epic news about Ginny & Georgia season 3, and needless to say, it's about to get a whole lot wilder!

What will Ginny & Georgia season 3 be about?

While it's only natural for Ginny & Georgia to keep the overall plot under wraps, the cast did mention how they feel about where the series is going.

In a May 2024 interview with Teen Vogue, Felix Mallard broke down his excitement to return to set and get back into the world of Marcus Baker, sharing his hopes for where his character could go with Ginny Miller.

"I love what (creator/executive producer) Sarah [Lampert] has in store for Marcus, and I love that it always surprises me," he told the outlet. "It's always something different ... I don't know what I would do that's anything more interesting than what we've got going on."

"Obviously, people want to see Marcus and Ginny and where they go. They both have a lot of stuff to figure out," he added. "It's why they love each other, but it's also why they can't be with each other right now. If I could write this season, I'd like to see more of that. I want to see Georgia snap. But that's just me. I think it'd be great, though. I want to see her go wild and just say, 'F**k it. Let's see how crazy we can get.' But honestly, I've only read the first couple scripts of season 3, and I'm already super excited about where we're going."

"When we had to develop the storyline for Season 2, we knew exactly what we wanted Season 3 to be," she said at the time.
