Savannah Guthrie can officially add one more item to her ever-growing list of projects.

Amid being a host on the Today show and a full-time mom, the longtime news anchor shocked fans by announcing the upcoming release of a personal project. Uploading the reveal on Instagram, Savannah shared her plans to publish a book called Mostly What God Does: Reflection on Seeking and Finding His Love Everywhere in late February 2024. What's more, she disclosed that her followers already have the chance to pre-order the title online.

"Excited to announce Mostly What God Does coming February 20, 2024!" she captioned the post on November 28. "Preorder link in bio."

When people took notice of Savannah's exciting announcement, it wasn't a surprise to see floods of congratulatory words for her online.

"Is there anything you can’t do!!! Love you SG! ❤️," one person wrote on Instagram. "This is incredible! I can’t wait to buy and read it!" another rejoiced. "OMG NO WAY! This makes my heart so happy! Can’t wait to grab a copy! 🥹❤️," a different follower replied.

It's important to note that this is the first time Savannah is publishing a non-fiction book for her fans to read. She's previously written two picture books, with Princesses Wear Pants debuting in September 2017 and Princesses Save the World dropping in September 2018.

As for what Mostly What God Does is about, Savannah got emotional while making the announcement during the November 28 taping of Today. When discussing the book with co-hosts Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, Carson Daly and Al Roker, she opened up about the journey she went on in order to pen the literary title.

"I am so passionate about faith, how it can challenge us and inspire us, and it is at the heart of a new project that I am excited to reveal right now," she told her colleagues while on the air. "It's very personal, which is why I'm in tears about it ... It's the most personal and vulnerable thing I've ever done."
