The 2024 Grammy Awards nominations are finally here, and one musician is getting emotional about the journey it took to get to this major moment in her career.

On November 10, the Recording Academy surprised music-goers when they announced the musical artists who would vie for an iconic trophy on February 4 in Los Angeles. As the names of the nominees rolled out on social media, fans of Kelly Clarkson were thrilled to learn she was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for her record Chemistry. What's more, listeners learned that she was up for the big trophy alongside some of the biggest singers in music, including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo.

As soon as The Voice alum found out about the honor, she went on Instagram to type out an emotional note about it.

"Wow! I am so grateful for every Grammy nomination I have ever received from the @recordingacademy, but this album means so much to me and this nomination hits differently," she wrote. "Thank you so much! I am also so honored to share this nomination with incredible artists like @teddysphotos, @mileycyrus, @taylorswift, and @oliviarodrigo ❤️."

When The Kelly Clarkson Show host's followers saw her passionate message about receiving her 16th overall Grammy nomination, they immediately rushed to the comments to support her career milestone.

"You deserve all the things @kellyclarkson. We are better & stronger humans because of you. Thank you Kelly," one person wrote on Instagram. "You deserve all the Grammys and more ❤️🙌 @kellyclarkson," another agreed. "You definitely deserve to win! Exceptional album queen!" a different fan declared.

As fans may remember, the American Idol winner released Chemistry back in June. Kelly said at the time, the inspiration for it came after her 2020 divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, with whom she shares daughter River Rose and son Remington "Remy" Alexander.

"I was trying to find a word, it might be one of the songs on the album, but I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing," she said on Instagram. "I didn’t want everybody to think I was just coming out with some 'I’m angry,' 'I’m sad' — just one or two emotions. This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship."

Congrats, Kelly and we're so looking forward to seeing what happens when the Grammy Awards air!
