After months of speculation, the show announced the official news via Entertainment Tonight, and then an Instagram post.
"🚨 BREAKING NEWS! 🚨," read the caption on January 23. "When Calls the Heart Season Eleven will premiere on @hallmarkchannel on April 7th! Mark your calendars now! Upon seeing the post, people couldn't contain their excitement for the show's premiere date. "Can’t wait!!! So glad it’s going to be on very soon!!," one person wrote on Instagram. "Love the Poster. So excited for Season 11," another added. "Can’t wait!! April 7 will be here before we know it!!," a different fan declared.
What's more, Erin released an official statement to the outlet about her elation for the show's return. "Time has flown by since the end of season 10, and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the premiere of season 11 of When Calls the Heart," she said. "It's such a warm feeling to know that we have the loyalty, love, and longevity to make it this far and that is a true testament to our viewers."
"I'm beyond proud and grateful to our hardworking crew, writers, producers, cast, and Hallmark Channel for their vision and support," she added. "I cannot wait for viewers to tune in to this season and to continue on this journey with all of us! Season 11 delivers more heart than ever before!"

What will When Calls the Heart season 11 be about?
Although the show left views with quite the cliffhanger, Erin told TVInsider that there's still a lot more to explore with our favorite group of citizens.
"I can say that the good news is that those questions will be answered," she said in mid-October 2023. "And pretty much right away, so we’re not gonna have to wait too long in season 11 to get those answers."
That's good to know because one of the storylines everyone needs more of is Elizabeth's love triangle between her, Lucas and Nathan. As Erin spoke to Entertainment Tonight, she said that despite Lucas and Elizabeth's love for one another, their paths are clearly divulging in different directions ... and toward different people.
"Lucas always had these big dreams and grand gestures ... He is excited about moving to the big city and making these changes for the town, for the community. Elizabeth doesn't really share those dreams," she said to the outlet in mid-October 2023. "That is totally OK, because they can be individuals who still really care about each other but aren't necessarily meant to be together forever ... I think that there is just maybe something happening in Elizabeth's heart that she can't quite deny as much as she once tried."
As for how Kevin McGarry feels about the romantic tension between Elizabeth and Nathan, he revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he thinks the two are in it for the long haul.
"I have always liked Nathan and Elizabeth as a couple," McGarry shared in March. "I think Nathan was created for Elizabeth ... I really feel like [Nathan] not finding a place, him not finding a partner, was deliberate. He was meant to kind of just wonder, while she was kind of moving forward with Lucas. I think it was always meant to be this and that they were meant to be endgame. And I really like how it's been done."
