Food Network is all ready for the spooky season, and they are recruiting a major Hallmark star to help them celebrate it.

The popular channel surprised fans on September 10 when they gave a first look at the all-new season of their annual baking competition series Halloween Wars. Sharing photos from the latest installment, the show also announced a huge revelation about who will be the face of the series this time around. For the first time in two years, actor Jonathan Bennett is back to host the show's monumental season 13.

"He's baaaaack!! πŸ™Œ," read the official caption. "@jonathandbennett is returning to #HalloweenWars as the host of Unlucky Season 13 πŸ‘» Mark your calendars for the premiere, next Sunday, Sept. 17 at 9|8c! πŸŽƒ."

Shortly after the network delivered the news, Jonathan shared his own excitement about coming back in a hosting capacity. "It feels good to be home! ❀️," he emotionally replied.

Given how fans love the Mean Girls alum for his work on television, they were ecstatic to see him back on their screens once again.

"Yasss!!! Loves it, so ready for this! πŸŽƒπŸ”₯πŸ€—," one person wrote on Instagram. "Yay!!!!!! So awesome that he’s back! πŸ§‘πŸŽƒπŸ§‘πŸŽƒπŸ§‘πŸŽƒπŸ§‘πŸŽƒπŸ§‘πŸŽƒπŸ§‘πŸŽƒπŸ§‘,” another declared. "Yahoooooooo! πŸ‘πŸΌ @jonathandbennett is the best Halloween Wars host! πŸŽƒπŸŽ‚πŸ₯§πŸ°πŸ§πŸ§‘πŸ–€πŸ§‘," a different follower rejoiced.

As longtime viewers of the show know, Food Network recruited Jonathan to emcee the series in season 6, where he held the position through season 10. He then took a break from the show, and Ghost Adventures star Zak Bagans hosted for seasons 11 and 12.

If the images are any indication of what's to come, viewers will be in for quite the spooky ride!
