After more than two decades as a host on The View, we have seen Joy Behar in a number of beautiful and interesting outfits. But amid her fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg's absence from the season 27 premiere due to COVID-19, Joy has really stepped up her fashion game.
During a taping of the ABC morning show, the longtime TV personality walked onto the soundstage in a style she doesn't often wear on the air. At first, it looked like she was wearing her typical all-black attire when she walked out in straight-legged pants and a matching tank top. But one element really made her standout among her cast mates (Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin), was the fact she wore an edgy leather jacket.
The jacket featured a structured shoulder and two small square pockets in the front. It also had a number of gold metal buttons strategically placed down the front, which added to the dramatic statement piece. You can find a very similar piece on Amazon.
While Joy's leather jacket definitely catches folks' attention, she also made sure to keep certain elements of her on-air look classic. For accessories, she wore a pair of black sandals and a pair of gold earrings while also styling her red hair in her iconic blowout with bangs framing her face. One piece that was missing however, were her black-framed glasses!
This isn't the first time one of Joy's looks has stoodout on air. In September 2022, she had Whoopi talking when she appeared onscreen wearing a bright pink two-piece suit. At the time, Whoopi joked that the color was akin to Pepto Bismol, but fans couldn't get enough of it.
