A recent family story Jenna Bush Hager revealed has Today show fans — and costar Hoda Kotb — feeling all the love for her.
During a July segment on the popular daytime show, Jenna shared a sweet moment she experienced with her oldest daughter Mila. Jenna explained to Hoda how Mila is away at sleepaway camp and often writes home to tell her family all the things she's doing. But Jenna also revealed that one of Mila's writings prompted major waterworks, thanks to what Mila wrote for her younger sister Poppy.
"Mila writes me these letters from camp that have every detail," she said in a clip posted on TikTok. "She wrote Poppy this letter which made [husband] Henry [Hager] and I weep. [It] was like, 'You're gonna feel homesick ... but the difference is, I got you. I'm there for you. I'll be there for you next year and you can come into my cabin and I've got you.'"
She added: "I have done a lot wrong, but I do feel like I listened to all of the things."
Naturally, this sweet sentiment stunned Hoda in the best way. And when fans of the Sisters First author saw Jenna talk about the heartfelt exchange between her daughters, they flocked to the comments to voice their thoughts.
"A mother's dream 🥹❤️," one person wrote on TikTok. "Ohhhh lawd. I’m crying. She is precious! 🥰," another chimed in. "This — [oh my god], so sweet," a different viewer replied.
As folks see the bond between Jenna's daughters, it's also important to note how close of a relationship Jenna has with her twin sister Barbara. The duo often collaborate with one another in business, including the upcoming release of their children's book Love Comes First. What's more, the two will embark on a book tour to promote the literary title throughout November and early December.
This is just too precious!
