Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal both garnered critical acclaim for their work on The Last of Us, and it looks like the two are still in touch months after the show's premiere.
When the video game-inspired television series debuted on HBO, folks loved seeing Pedro and Bella portray a pseudo-father-daughter relationship onscreen. Unsurprisingly, their performances struck a chord among audiences, because they were both nominated at the 2023 Emmy Awards. On July 12, Pedro scored a nod for Lead Actor in a Drama Series while Bella received recognition for Lead Actress in a Drama series.
Ahead of the Emmy nominations, though, it seemed like Bella was reminiscing about their days working on The Last of Us. Posting a series of images on Instagram, Bella shared an emotional note about acting alongside Pedro in the hit TV series.
"I miss it," they captioned the post.
As it turns out, Bella wasn't the only one feeling sentimental. Shortly after the post went up on social media, Pedro took to the comments section to deliver his own sweet message to his TV daughter.
"I miss [you] ❤️," he affectionately wrote back.
Because the duo continue to get buzz for their performances on The Last of Us, folks couldn't get enough of the heartfelt interaction between Bella and Pedro. As a result, many shared their thoughts about it on Instagram.
"If [it's] your goal to make us all cry today you have succeeded!!" one person wrote in the comments. "Can [you] hear me screaming? Us screaming," another replied. "Bella taking care of us in this Pedro drought 🥰," a different follower agreed.
Between Bella's photo dump and the Emmy nominations, fans have a lot to celebrate about The Last of Us. Along with the fact that the series scored a season 2 renewal a few weeks after its premiere, we can only hope there's more in store for these two in the near future.
Though signs are pointing to a possible 2026 release date, we're sure the wait will be worth it!
