Throughout her 24 seasons on Law and Order: SVU, Mariska Hargitay continues to enamor fans with her impeccable beauty. But she recently got them talking, thanks to a throwback moment shared recently on social media.
On March 24, the NBC actress surprised her longtime followers with a sexy photo from her early days in the acting industry on Instagram. Posting a picture from what looked to be a photoshoot, folks saw Mariska pose for the camera wearing a lilac tube top and matching pants and belt. She accessorized the look with a belly chain, silver jewelry and contrasting mint green button-up shirt, tied at the front to show off her midriff and lean into the fashion trends of the 1990s.
"#[flashbackfriday] to #canthurrylove 💚💖," she captioned the post, with a direct reference to her 1995 sitcom Can't Hurry Love. "#springfeels."
While many of her followers probably didn't know her from that era of TV, they adored seeing her share a memorable picture from then. What's more, Law and Order: SVU fans couldn't help but tell her just how much they loved seeing her pull this out from her acting vault.

For those unfamiliar with Mariska's TV past before portraying Captain Olivia Benson, she starred on Falcon's Crest in the 1980s before making guest appearances on multiple shows. She eventually got a starring role on the sitcom Can't Hurry Love, which ran for one season from September 1995 to February 1996 on CBS.
If you're still wondering what the premise of the show was, some might agree that it's reminiscent of Sex and the City with four girlfriends living in New York City and navigating dating. According to IMDB, Mariska portrayed Didi Edelstein, a "sexy divorcée" who often gave unsolicited dating advice to her friends.
