Jenna Bush Hager made a surprise switch up on the Today show, and fans can't get enough of the move.
Since debuting on the daytime morning news show in 2019, viewers have become familiar with the co-host's usual short hairstyle that's often blow dried straight and left down on her shoulders. But during a March 15 taping of Today With Hoda and Jenna, she walked out wearing a sleeveless floral dress perfect for the start of spring and a high ponytail.
While sitting alongside Hoda Kotb live on the air, folks noticed something else about Jenna's dramatic transformation. Unlike her go-to look, the Sisters First author added textured waves for an added twist to her unexpected updo change. She also left a few pieces out of her blonde locks, framing her face and giving her overall on-air ensemble a more youthful feel.
When photos from Jenna's unique hairstyle moment started circulating on the internet, people couldn't believe how good she looked. Many Today show fans proceeded to voice how much they loved her new locks and she should be doing it more often.
"Jenna your hair looks amazing you need to wear it up and curly more. Love the dress too," one person wrote on one Instagram post. "Jenna, [you] look so pretty with [your] hair like that and [your] dress is very pretty on you 👍❤," another user wrote in part. "What is Jenna wearing?? Love it and want to buy it. 😍," a different viewer added on another post.
While Jenna's venture into ponytails didn't last long, the experiment proved one thing — she knows how to make any style work for her. Plus, with the temperature slowly warming up outside, it wouldn't surprise us if she tries more updo versions throughout the spring and summer. We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for inspiration!
