Is Kane Brown expanding his budding career to include new pursuits? It appears so, and what he's doing next will cause unexpected excitement for certain TV viewers.

In a new post added to Instagram in mid-February, the hit CBS drama Fire Country surprised its followers with a major announcement. Posting a photo of Kane wearing fire gear alongside lead actor Max Thieriot (who plays Bode), the show's social team shared that the 2023 CMT Music Awards host will guest star in an upcoming season 1 episode. They also nodded to the "Thank God" singer's musical roots via a list of the actors set to appear that week in the form of a music festival poster.

"Edgewater is about to welcome another country star to town!" the show's official account wrote on February 23. "@KaneBrown guest stars in a special episode of #FireCountry April 7th - who's excited?!"

Not one to leave himself out of the excitement, Kane responded with his own cheerful message in the comments. "Let’s gooooo 🔥🔥," he exclaimed, adding two fire emojis for further emphasis.

When Fire Country fans realized that the artist has plans on making his acting debut on the most-watched show on CBS, they immediately reveled in the moment. Many started congratulating Kane, saying they couldn't wait to see how he fared on TV.

"OMG … Are you for REAL? I love this show [and] then to have Kane Brown on it. THAT MAKES IT EVEN BETTER ♥️ CAN’T WAIT … ," one person commented on Instagram. "🔥 Can't wait to see!!! 😍 All the actors are awesome!!" another follower added. "That is gonna be one smoking hot episode! 🔥❤️," a different user exclaimed.

So, what exactly will this Fire Country episode be about, and what is Kane's role within it? According to an official press release, the crews of Three Rock and Cal Fire will be be on hand to help after a train carrying illegal goods suddenly crashes near their northern California town of Edgewater. What's more, the "What Ifs" musician will play Robin, "an enigmatic modern-day train hopper who helps injured patients."

As for how Kane feels about making his TV debut, he spoke to People about the surreal milestone in his career. "Acting has been a life-long dream of mine," he told the outlet on March 10. "To make my debut on a hit series like Fire Country is such an honor."
