How could anyone be an "angry elf" when seeing the hilarious throwback pictures Luke Bryan's wife Caroline "Lina" Boyer Bryan shared of their old Halloween costumes?

The country singer, 46, and his partner in crime, 42, had fans erupting in laughter when an old photo surfaced on Instagram. Part of a hilarious collection, the picture shows Luke dressed up as Buddy the Elf and Caroline as Papa Elf. What's more, there was also a video of Luke dancing around in costume and other photos that indicate a Halloween well spent.

"These just popped up on my phone '6 years ago today'….what a fun night!!" Caroline captioned the Instagram post on October 21.

Without skipping a beat, American Idol fans immediately had some things to say. Joining the commentary was Luke's mother, LeClaire Bryan, who wrote: "Always been my favorite. Cracks me up."

"😂😂 you guys are hysterical," one fan wrote in the comments section. "😂😂😂 I didn't know I needed this, but glad I got it," another added. "Never a dull moment with you guys!! Makes me exhausted just watching! 😂😂," a different person said.

The couple, who have been married since 2006, love to keep fans entertained with their adorable antics on their social channels. And this isn't the only time the two have dressed up in costume. Just a few weeks ago, Caroline shared another picture with the two of them rocking what seem to be Tiger King-inspired outfits and Luke in a blonde mullet wig.

In both instances, folks wanted to know what was next for the fast approaching Hallows Eve. "This is too funny! I can't wait to find out what you are gonna have Luke dress up to be this year," someone else chimed in.

When he's not dressing up in costumes with his wife, Luke has been busy spending time filming American Idol season 21, where he is a judge alongside Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. According to TV Insider, production officially started with the first auditions kicking off in Las Vegas on September 25.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2023 to see the southern singer and celebrity judges send some talented singers to Hollywood, but until then, we're sure Caroline's Instagrams of Luke will keep us occupied.
