Cole Hauser is getting sentimental just as Yellowstone is wrapping up and exciting new beginnings are around the corner.

On December 9, the actor shared a photo with some of the Yellowstone cast and crew on Instagram and got nostalgic about the series ending after five seasons on the air.

"Just found this picture of all of our last day together on set! @yellowstone," he captioned the post.

Naturally, fans were emotional about Cole's cast photo โ€” and they made sure to let him know their feelings in the comments.

"Love, Love, Love.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜," another declared. "Thank you for sharing, Cole. I love this!! I am still holding out hope for a Rip and Beth spin-off. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž," a different viewer added.

Fans learned soon after that Cole wouldn't be leaving the Taylor Sheridan-created TV franchise after all. Even though the hit Paramount Network series is ending on December 15, Deadline revealed the show universe will continue with another spinoff starring Cole and Kelly Reilly, who plays Rip's wife Beth Dutton. The outlet also revealed it's likely other cast members (like potentially Luke Grimes) could join the two on the show, with the new series having a similar theme to the original series and having Yellowstone in the title โ€” the first of Taylor's spinoff shows (like The Madison, 1883 and 1923) to have that nod.

Well, this is quite an announcement even we didn't see coming! But as Cole inferred back in November, the Yellowstone series finale would come with surprises for fans.

"This show and what they think this season is going to be โ€” everybody has their opinion of it," he told Reuters about the show's end and the future of the Yellowstone franchise. "And to be quite honest, none of them are right."
