For a man who's had many TV shows on Food Network, Bobby Flay's latest venture may be the most special of all. The Iron Chef America star has been posting on social media about a new project for the network, and fans are thrilled about his daughter Sophie Flay coming along for the ride.

On August 19, Bobby began sharing snippets on Instagram featuring heartwarming moments with his only daughter (whom he shares with his second wife, fellow TV personality Kate Connelly). The Beat Bobby Flay star announced that he and the ABC journalist would be starring together in the new Food Network show Bobby and Sophie on the Coast, which debuted August 22.

"THREE MORE DAYS until the Series Premiere of Bobby and Sophie #OnTheCoast," he captioned an Instagram video. "Tune in on MONDAY as we explore Hollywoodโ€™s eclectic food sceneโ€ฆ from old school favorites to new hot spots."

Food Network viewers loved seeing their rapport and many immediately jumped into the chef's comments section to share their joy over the two teaming up.

"๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ you two are hilarious together. Peas in a pod , or better yet seeds in a chili ๐ŸŒถ pepper," one fan commented on Instagram. "The flay team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ can't wait! ๐Ÿ“บ ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿฟ," another wrote as well. "This is going to be good ... ๐Ÿ‘ can't wait to see team flay foodie on the coast. I don't know about everyone else...but I'm excited ๐Ÿ˜‡," a different person said.

So, what will Bobby and Sophie on the Coast be about? According to Deadline, the show will focus on the father-daughter duo traveling around L.A. and the California coastline to find the best food, from old Hollywood haunts to trendier modern eateries. While the location may be new, longtime viewers may know they did something similar in New York City in with The Flay List.

In addition, Bobby and Sophie on the Coast won't be the only production coming from the mastermind behind shows like Throwdown with Bobby Flay and Brunch at Bobby's. He struck a deal with Food Network and Discovery in November 2021, which allows him to add one more project to his portfolio with the popular channel by 2024.

"Iโ€™m thrilled to extend my relationship with Food Network and Discovery," he announced at the time. "Although these talks to renew took a little longer than expected, the important thing is that both sides are happy that we can now build on an already rock solid foundation. Stay tuned for some incredibly exciting new shows as I promise to take food and cooking to places weโ€™ve never imagined before."

Here's to seeing where Bobby goes next ... possibly with Sophie tagging along.
