Is there anything Tamron Hall can't do? When she's not hosting her daytime TV talk show The Tamron Hall Show or writing books, she's busy looking fabulous on Hollywood red carpets. Unsurprisingly, fans of the broadcast journalist are definitely noticing.
On May 24, Tamron was honored in-person at the Alliance for Women in Media's 47th annual Gracie Awards for Outstanding TV Host. Naturally, she had to turn out on the red carpet to culminate the big moment. Donning a halter-style multicolored pattern dress by the Black-owned clothing brand Demestik, she matched her colorful outfit with a bright red clutch and bold statement earrings. As for the rest of the look, Tamron completed it with a smoky eye, nude lip and slicked back hairdo.
"Thank you @allwomeninmedia for adding me to the list of incredible women honored this week," she wrote on Instagram. "I cherish my Gracie award for Outstanding TV Host."
As she accepted her award onstage, Tamron acknowledged the work of Kimberly Godwin, who officially became the first Black woman to lead a major broadcast news network when she started her role as president of ABC News in April 2021.
"I can tell you because I have been called the first in many categories, you revel in it but you don’t want to be it," she said during her speech. "You want to open that door for a floodgate of others. It’s no fun being the only. And Kim, you have provided an opportunity for so many of us to say we are not alone, we are many. We are an army of women representing other women of all backgrounds."
Without missing a beat, the Tam Fam expressed how thrilled they were by the news of her award. "👏🏽CONGRATS TamTam..A VERY WELL, MUCH DESERVED & HONORED AWARD To A TRULY OUTSTANDING TV HOST💐💐," one person wrote in the comments section. "Congrats on the Gracie Award. You deserve all your accolades," another added. Model Iman took the time to comment on her friend's success as well: "CONGRATS ❤️."
What's more, many let her know their thoughts on the stunning dress she wore to the gala. "👏👏👏👏👏 breath taking in the dress," a different fan said. "Tamron you are such a fashion icon! Love seeing what you wear on your show 👏👏," a follower quipped.
