Rosie Perez is stealing the show at the 2022 Oscars with her highly anticipated comeback to the special awards ceremony.

On Sunday night, The Flight Attendant actress made a grand entrance at the 94th Academy Awards dressed in a fiery red Christian Siriano design. The Brooklyn native stepped out in a formfitting red gown with a halter-style top and a draped sleeve detail. The crimson outfit was complete with a dramatic train. Rosie was accompanied by her husband, artist Eric Haze, who complemented her Oscars look with a black and white suit.

This is the first time the Puerto Ricans in Paris star has attended the coveted awards show in nearly three decades. Fans last saw Rosie at the Oscars in 1994 when she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the drama film Fearless. While she didn't take home the win that night, the actress received a roar of approval from folks who couldn't get enough of her dress.

After spotting her on the red carpet, Rosie's fans wasted no time heading over to Twitter to shower her with compliments. "Rosie Perez forever! 🔥," one person wrote. "Rosie Perez is back to the #Oscars for the first time in 28 years and she legit brought the fire to the red carpet," another added. "Holy s--- Rosie Perez!!!!! that dress!!!!" a different fan said.

What's more, friend and dress designer Christian showed his support on Instagram. "28 years later Rosie is here to show them old Hollywood glamour in Siriano!!! #oscars @rosieperezbrooklyn ❤️❤️❤️," he captioned a clip of her. "A Rose for Rosie 🌹," the Project Runway alum added.

Viewers got to see Rosie once more when she got up on stage to present with fellow White Men Can't Jump costars Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. The moment was memorable for different reasons, including White Men Can't Jump's 30th anniversary and Rosie's public call to return after her 2021 interview with Variety.

“Not even to sit in the audience, not to present, nothing – and I’m a member,” she told the outlet. “I love the Academy Awards. I cheer on my peers, but it hurts. It’s like when your home team doesn’t ask you to come back into the stadium after you got up to bat and hit the home run.”

Well, we think Rosie will be back again next year, for sure.
