Steve Harvey showed a little love to artist Muni Long while filming Celebrity Family Feud and fans couldn't get enough of his support.

After the R&B ballad "Hrs and Hrs" was released by the artist in November 2021, it quickly gained popularity on TikTok, thanks to a challenge. Most recently, on March 13, Steve posted an Instagram video showing him recording an episode of his game show when he takes a break to blast Muni's song. Before turning up the volume though, he asked the audience if they had listening to it too.

"You ain't heard this song?" Steve said in the clip. "It's the dopest song out right now ... [I'm going to] play it [for you]. This is dope. This my jam right here."

After seeing the TV personality give her a shoutout, Muni reached out to him in his Instagram comments section to express how much she appreciated his support. "Thank you, Uncle Steve!!!! πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ," she wrote.

Steve's fans were just as excited to discover that they shared a similar taste in music to the Family Feud host. One fan commented: "Steve know good music!!" Another added: "I feel the SAME WAY STEVE." What's more, someone who experienced the moment firsthand shared what it was like. A different follower wrote: "I was in the audience it's a real good time during the taping of the show!πŸ”₯πŸ”₯."

In case Muni's voice sounds familiar it might be because she originally wrote and sang music under her first and middle name Priscilla Renea. According to Rolling Stone, the singer-songwriter has been the genius behind Billboard hits for Ariana Grande, Rihanna and Mariah Carey. After struggling to find her niche as a recording artist (she released a pop song and later, a country single), Muni experimented with the R&B genre.

The rebrand ultimately led to Muni's top charting EP titled "Public Displays of Affection," which includes the now-Steve approved single. So, if you don't follow him for his Family Feud content, motivational talks or his impeccable outfits, you might want to start just for his music suggestions.
