Like the rest of us, Julianne Hough has also thought about switching up her look. But not before asking her fans for their thoughts.
Best known for her work on Dancing with The Stars, the entertainer shines thanks to her fearless performances and her ever-changing hair. Over the years, the 33-year-old dancer and actress has experimented with various hairstyles from platinum blonde to a pink bob. Without a doubt, Julianne has looked amazing with every hair change she's made and recently, she shared that she was ready to embrace something new. Back in December, Julianne took to Instagram to ask her fans what they think she should try next.
To give an idea of what she's already done with her hair and what she might be open to, Julianne put together a video compilation on Instagram from different times in her life. The singer also shared that she's been rocking a dirty blonde hair color since the pandemic and it's "the healthiest [her] hair has ever been."
"I’ve had Platinum, Auburn Red, Copper Red, Strawberry Blonde, Pink, Natural Blonde with a few pops of highlights (my hair right now), and of course that’s just the color," she captioned the clip. Julianne then asked her fans about what kind of haircut she should get. "Pixie, Bob, 'Safe Haven' cut, Shoulder Length, Long, Bangs… Wanna help me pick? What do you think I should do next? 🤷🏼♀️💇🏼♀️🥰," she concluded.
Unsurprisingly, thousands of her fans wasted no time and quickly took to the comments section to share their suggestions with her. Many were inspired by Julianne's past hairdos from her movies. One person wrote: "[Safe] Haven is my favorite movie so that’s definitely a fave for me 😍." Another added: "Footloose hair 😍." As many fans love her various shades of blonde, lots were hoping for her to become a redhead. A different fan commented: "Red red red 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️."
Throughout her career, Julianne has proven that no matter her hair color or length, she always looks radiant and confident. Her December post isn't the only time she has asked fans for hair change advice. Later in January, she shared a photo on Instagram with her naturally dirty blonde hair and asked fans if she should get bangs. Julianne revealed there was sentiment behind it.
"I know I talk about my hair a lot, haha but for me, my hair is a form of expression," she wrote. "Sometimes I feel like I’ve grown or changed so much on the inside that I want to reflect that evolution on the outside. I am constantly changing my hair based on the phase or chapter of life I am currently transitioning through."
Hair is definitely another fun way that Julianne shows off her creativity. While she has yet to make a noticeable hair change, we can bet that fans will still be ecstatic about it whenever it does happen. Who knows, Julianne might just surprise everyone with a reveal at her upcoming Oscar special with her brother, Derek Hough.
