Mandy Moore's recent tweet proves that the This is Us final season might be the hardest goodbye in television history.

On Tuesday night, This Is Us premiered its first episode of the sixth season. True to TIU fashion, the episode titled "The Challenger" made fans laugh, cry and get really emotional about the thought of saying farewell to the beloved Pearson family. But it's wasn't just fans who were feeling nostalgic over the imminent ending.

Right before the season premiere aired, Mandy took to Twitter to share candid photos from each first episode of the series, along with a sweet message. "Looking back at my first days onset of every season of #ThisIsUs. Love that it’s always with @MiloVentimiglia (plus a @SterlingKBrown cameo)!! Gonna miss these days with the fam when it’s all over, but for now, we get to come together and watch the premiere episode tonight!!!"

After seeing the tweets, fans couldn't help but vent their feelings to Mandy and commiserate with each other over their sadness. “Oh my gosh, I’m gonna miss you guys. Not ready to say goodbye to my family," one fan said. "I am not ready! Just not ready yet! I haven’t stocked up on the boxes of tissues. But, I absolutely love this show. The actors are amazing. And, the writing is so fantastic. The storylines are so relatable to each and every one of us," said another.

In addition to Mandy, series creator Dan Fogelman, also took to Twitter to thank fans for their support of the show throughout the years. "Hard to process that our final season starts tonight. We care deeply and have worked extremely hard to close this story outright. If you’ve stuck with us this long: thank you. It’s been the ride of a lifetime. A lot more story left. You’ll get all your answers. #ThisIsUs "

For right now, we're going to try not to think about the ending and enjoy the rest of the time we have with the Pearsons.
