• Popular home store Bed Bath & Beyond has opened its first new storefront under the new name Bed Bath & Beyond Home in Nashville, TN.
  • It's the first brick-and-mortar store opening for the brand since its bankruptcy and subsequent store closures in 2023.
  • The company has confirmed it will honor old, expired Bed Bath & Beyond coupons at the new location.

Amidst what may seem like a sea of store closures, Bed Bath & Beyond is offering a beacon of hope (and savings!)

The former shopping center staple filed for bankruptcy in April 2023, closing all brick-and-mortar stores to become an online-only retailer for the past few years.

Since then, the brand has experienced numerous changes. By mid-2023, Bed Bath & Beyond's intellectual property was purchased by online furniture store Overstock. At the end of 2023, Overstock and Bed Bath & Beyond merged to become Beyond Inc., later adding the intellectual property of Kirkland's Home to the portfolio.

With the power of three brands combined, a new store with a somewhat familiar name has opened its doors. On August 8, 2025, Bed Bath & Beyond Home opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Nashville, TN, celebrating with an announcement on its Instagram, although it was met with mixed reactions from shoppers.

The opening comes after The Brand House Collective, formerly Kirkland's, partnered with Beyond Inc. with the idea to transform dozens of Kirkland's old storefronts into the new retailer.

Amy Sullivan, CEO of The Brand House Collective, said in a press release, "This isn't just a store, it's a fresh start for a brand that means something special to so many families. With Bed Bath & Beyond Home we're delivering on our mission to offer great brands, for any budget, in every room. It's a powerful addition to our portfolio and a meaningful step forward in our transformation."

But there's more to celebrate than just the return of the iconic home store. The Bed Bath & Beyond Home location also announced it will be accepting old, expired Bed Bath & Beyond coupons.

"We encourage guests to bring in their legacy Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, which we will gladly honor."

Even if you didn't hold onto those years-old coupons, the brand said they'll be handing out new ones at the door.
