I then compared savings and analyzed the price histories of each item on sale for Cyber Monday. In addition to my research, I consulted our Kitchen Lab experts to gather their insights and opinions.

"If you're someone who likes starting the day off with a large cup of coffee but craves espresso for an afternoon pick-me-up, the Vertuo Plus machine is for you," said Senior Reviews Writer & Analyst Olivia Lipski. Nespresso is offering three free sleeves with the purchase of at least 10 Vertuo Sleeves or Original Sleeves, but our Kitchen Appliances & Innovation Lab Director Nicole Papantoniou says this deal "feels gimmicky" since you have to purchase 10 sleeves to get the three free ones. Luckily, we also found a great deal on Nespresso sleeves on Amazon. Nespresso vs. Keurig: Which Cyber Monday deals should you shop?
The short answer: Nespresso deals are rarer, but you'll save more money overall with a budget-friendly Keurig.
“Nespresso rarely offers sales,” says Papantoniou, making this Cyber Monday deal a must-grab for espresso fans. She also points out that discounts on Nespresso sleeves are highly unusual, presenting a rare chance to stock up on pods at a lower price.
If you’re wondering whether Nespresso or Keurig machines are better overall, both have consistently excelled in our evaluations and earned high praise from consumer testers. That said, coffee enthusiasts might lean toward the cost savings of a Keurig, while espresso lovers may find Nespresso more appealing. “K-Cups offer truer coffee options that are closer to drip coffee,” says Papantoniou, whereas Nespresso excels in espresso-making. “With Nespresso, you can choose from espresso capsules, double espresso capsules, coffee capsules, and more,” she explains. “It offers a wide variety of sizes and coffee types.”
Ultimately, the choice between a Nespresso or Keurig machine this Cyber Monday depends on your personal preference, budget and available counter or storage space. But, Papantoniou notes that while Keurig machines are often available at good prices on Amazon, the current Nespresso deal is unlikely to happen again anytime soon. That said, if you’ve been eyeing a particular Keurig model and it’s now 50% off, it’s a deal worth jumping on.
