Shopping from Black-owned brands is one of the many ways to be an ally and show support to a community that has been deeply affected by systemic racism (FYI: Black business owners are turned down for loans twice as often). Not only does buying Black uplift marginalized entrepreneurs and creatives, but it brings visibility to a more diverse range of products and services that are otherwise underrepresented on the market.
Supporting your local Black-owned businesses is an excellent place to start, but we've also compiled a list of brands that Good Housekeeping editors and Good Housekeeping Institute product analysts personally love. What's more, many of these brands are conveniently available to shop on major retailers like Amazon.
We hope that you'll find some new favorite beauty, fashion, food and more products that you will continue to shop long-term — and, because we're just scratching the surface with these recommendations, we promise to continue updating this list.
