Anyone else feeling a little déjà vu? Just a few months ago, Ree and her youngest son Todd went shopping at Walmart as she moved him into his dorm—officially making her an empty nester. Now, she’s back at it again with Bryce as he transfers schools and moves into his new apartment.

Previously at the University of North Texas, Bryce is now back in Pawhuska Huskies orange and black to play football at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). Which means he’s in need of a little space redo, right? Right!

Luckily, Ree let us tag along again! She posted the video of their shopping excursion to social media with the caption, “Yesterday Bryce (and his mullet) asked me if I had time to drive over to his college town to have dinner with him...oh, and take him shopping for a few apartment essentials. 😂 Of course, my answer was yes. As long as he didn’t mind visiting a few certain aisles... 🤓”

We know Ree will take any chance she can get to see her kiddos now that they’re all living away from Drummond Ranch... and we’ll take any chance to watch their adventures!

After taking a stroll down the aisle of all things OSU (because you can never have too many school shirts), Ree and Bryce made their way to our favorite section of Walmart: The Pioneer Woman collection! This shopping trip is all about the essentials, which obviously includes items from Ree’s own line. When she asked, “Want any Pioneer Woman dinnerware?” Bryce answered, “Yeah, we’re gonna need some of that, too.”

They grabbed items like bowls and baking sheets in fun speckled prints as well as fabric napkins, knives, and tongs for all those steaks Bryce will be cooking up for himself! But in typical football player fashion, when Ree brought out a salad bowl, Bryce replied, “Nah, I’m good on that. We don’t eat much salad.” 😂

Of course, it wouldn’t be a mother-son trip if there wasn’t a little back-and-forth and a lot of laughs along the way, too. At one point, Ree exclaims, “Cut your mullet off!” To which Bryce answers, “The mullet is here to stay.” Come on, Ree! He’s just trying to embrace the ’80s (aka your favorite decade). 😉

Yep, there’s never a dull moment! Ree even stopped to take a picture with a fan she met in the aisles! Just check out Bryce’s photography skills. To see for yourself, be sure to watch the video!

Along with all those laughs, we can also guarantee some inspiration for your next home refresh—which we’re always here for. Especially now that there’s a Pioneer Woman furniture collection to browse! Happy shopping!
