This year marks a big one for Dungeons & Dragons: It's the 50th anniversary of D&D. And whether the D&D fan in your life is a veteran Dungeon Master or a newbie curious to get into the game, there's plenty for them to get excited about, since there are lots of launches and collaborations planned for the milestone — with more announcements sure to come as 2024 rolls on.

Of course, even without the new, shiny 50th anniversary items, there are loads of great Dungeons & Dragons gift ideas for 2024. There are plenty of game extensions, add-ons and accessories, from creative dice sets to terrain maps and DM screens to new adventure books that are available for pre-order. Then there are the fan items for collectors, like plushes, figurines, statues and art that make the game room look good. And finally, there are the D&D gifts that take the dungeon to other rooms of the house, like appliances for the kitchen or PJs and blankets for the bedroom. Grab one of these, and you won't have to beware the smiling DM.
