Walmart has released a list of what the retail giant believes will be the hottest toys come the holiday season. There are some familiar names — L.O.L. and Paw Patrol, anyone? — plus some new surprises, but there’s one thing they all have in common: Any kid would be lucky to find them under the tree this year.

In addition to coming up with its list of potential bestsellers, Walmart identified a few trends for this year’s favorite toys. The first is that surprise toys aren’t going away any time soon. Kids still love to open up blind boxes and collect rare and super-rare varieties of the little goodies that are inside. Interactive toys that respond to your touch, sound, and movement are also big winners — but, of course, they don’t take the place of toys that foster imaginative play, especially if that play is aspirational and allows kids to dream up their ideal futures. And, while kids are stereotyped as people who are too into their phones and tablets to take in some fresh air, Walmart has found that kids really do like playing outside. (On a new Hoverboard or drivable UTV, maybe?) Check out our favorites below — or see the full list on the Walmart website.
