The Jewish holiday of Hanukkah is also known as the Festival of Lights, and the meaning behind the theme dates back about 2,200 years. It celebrates events that unfolded after the Jewish people reclaimed the Second Temple in Jerusalem from the Greeks but found only enough oil to light the sacred lamp within it for a single day. But miraculously, the oil burned for eight days.

That's why the holiday lasts eight nights and why its celebrants light a new candle on a menorah each night, with glowing candlelight creating a dazzling display for all who see it. These modern menorahs are striking, stately, conversation-starting pieces of art sure to brighten your Hanukkah displays — and even your home decor all year round. (Of course, don't forget the candles! Check out our roundup of great Hanukkah candles to stock up on.)
