When it comes time to celebrate Easter, toddlers love to get in on the fun. Whether they're decorating eggs, going on a hunt or getting a basket full of fun Easter gifts, the holiday activities really open up when kids turn 1 and 2 years old, letting them get in on the action. But they still have to be done in an age-appropriate way, since toddlers are still likely to put everything in their mouths (steer clear of toys with small parts!) and they're working on those motor coordination skills (tell the big kids to make way).

When it comes time to fill that basket, these are the best Easter gifts for toddlers. They're toys that meet kids where they're at developmentally. And they're fun for families, too — some have even won Good Housekeeping Best Toy Awards or Kids' Book Awards. Get a few for the little ones on your list, and you'll have a "hoppy" toddler.

Good Housekeeping Institute experts were also impressed that, continuing with the eco-theme, the set is made largely from recycled plastic. Ages 18 months+
