So, you've planned the perfect Easter at home: You'll start off the day by unwrapping Easter gifts and organizing an egg hunt, followed by a delicious meal with your loved ones. Even if you made a grocery run days before the holiday festivities, there's still a chance that you'll wake up on Easter Sunday realizing that you forgot one very important ingredient on your list, whether it's brown sugar for your ham glaze or another bag of chocolate eggs to fill your kid's basket. Fortunately for you, several grocery stores stay open on Easter for this very reason.

That being said, many grocery stores around the country are continuing to adjust their policies amid the coronavirus pandemic. Keep in mind that the CDC's updated guidelines encourage people to limit their grocery store trips and order items for pickup or delivery, if available. In addition to wearing masks and practicing social distancing in grocery stores, the CDC suggests wiping down shopping carts with disinfectant wipes, cleaning reusable shopping bags before each use, and using hand sanitizer before and after each shopping trip.

The following grocery stores are open on Easter Sunday in 2021, but please note that hours are subject to change. Before you hop in the car (like a bunny!), call your nearest chain to get the most up-to-date information on closures, hours, and other shopping procedures.
