When Jackie (played by Carly Hughes) is offered a chance to oversee a small-town newspaper in Alaska, she relocates and doesn't look back. With some major news wins and a budding romance, she's starting to settle in to her new life — until she learns that her old boss (played by Marie Osmond) wants to take over the paper.

After her cousin has to delay the opening of her Italian restaurant, Natalie (played by Anni Krueger) finds herself concerned for all the guests who planned to spend their holidays enjoying a delicious Italian meal. David (played by Mario Lopez) lost the holiday spirit after his wife passed, and now his daughter and sister are determined to bring it back. Their solution: Set him up on a dating site and bring new love into his life.

Natalie Morgan (played by Melissa Joan Hart) fails to practice what she preaches. Although the world sees her as a romance expert, the podcast host has very little experience of her own. Then suddenly, she catches herself in the middle of a love story of her own with the town's firefighter (played by Jason Priestley).

First comes love, then comes a marriage! Jacquie (played by Kelly Rowland) and Tyler (played by Thomas Cadrot) face the unexpected as they plan their dream wedding — and their family is to blame. But in the end, they celebrate their love with a special day even better than they could have imagined.

Amelia (played by Vanessa Lachey) and Vic (played by Ryan McPartlin) have their eye on the same storefront. Realtor Julia Rogers (played by Lexi Giovagnoli) is all work and no play. So much so, that she hides out at a Christmas inn with her biggest competitor (played by Travis Burns) over the holidays to try to secure the town's newest listing. The two learn that they have more in common than meets the eye — beyond their business dealings.

Olivia O'Hara (played by Tori Anderson) is over love: She's dumped just two weeks before Christmas and plans to wallow in her heartbreak instead of getting in her usual holly, jolly spirit.
