All the New Netflix Christmas Movies to Stream This Holiday Season

The holidays are almost here, which means it's time for hot cocoa, fireside snuggles, and all the Christmas movies you need to survive the stress/chaos/cold weather of the season. Even though your schedule from now through December may already be full of Hallmark, Lifetime, and Freeform's all-new releases, true Christmas fans (like you!) know that there's always room for more festive cheer. Luckily, Netflix recently announced that they're releasing brand-new original Christmas movies every week in November and December this year.
Even though some details are still up in the air, the Netflix Christmas movie schedule is loaded with all things merry and bright. There's a movie (or two) for everyone in your family, including kids (Klaus), teens (Let It Snow), hopeless romantics (The Knight Before Christmas), and royal fanatics (A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby). Along with these new releases, the streaming service is the place to go for your favorite films of holiday's past, including White Christmas and The Grinch. So, you know what to do: Bust out your coziest blanket (a weighted one, of course) and rejoice in all that the season brings.
Holiday in the Wild

For Kate (played by Kristin Davis), the desert is as dreamy as a Hallmark town dressed in its Christmas best — well, only because she's looking for an escape after her husband unexpectedly ends their marriage. During her travels, she befriends her pilot Derek (played by Rob Lowe) who just so happens to be the perfect person to remind her of the holiday's magic.

Proof that teenagers won't let anything — even a nasty snowstorm on Christmas Eve — get in the way of fun. Based on a novel by the same name, this movie follows a group of high school seniors as they answer the questions that arise during this unique time in life, including who's dating who.

Made by the creator of Despicable Me, this movie tells the story of Jesper (voiced by Jason Schwartzman), the postal academy’s worst student, who is stationed on the frozen island above the Arctic Circle a.k.a. a place with few people and therefore, even less mail. With Alva (voiced by Rashida Jones) and Klaus' (voiced by J.K. Simmons) help, he brings holiday cheer to the otherwise desolate island.

The Knight Before Christmas

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby
