Liquor Stores Open on the 4th of July

Whether your local liquor store is open on the Fourth of July depends greatly on the state in which you reside. If you happen to live in a state that operates state-owned liquor stores or state controlled liquor stores – any state other than Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington or Wisconsin — the hours of operation may align with federal holiday closures, which means liquor stores will be closed. In order to be on the safe side, check with your local store ahead of time or be sure to purchase your liquor before the 4th.
