Graveyard cookies are best when buried deep in delicious crushed-Oreo-cookie dirt-covered cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Cupcakes

  • Chocolate Buttercream

  • Crushed chocolate cookies (such as Famous Wafers)

  • Store-bought cookies (chocolate-covered grahams, shortbread cookies, vanilla-and-chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Milanos)

  • Royal Icing for decorating

Directions

    1. Step 1Bake cupcakes as directed and let cool. Frost with chocolate buttercream, then gently press on crushed chocolate cookie “dirt.”
    2. Step 2Using white royal icing on the chocolate cookies and black-tinted royal icing on the vanilla cookies, pipe dates or RIP on each cookie to make gravestones, then push into dirt-covered cupcakes.
