If you can’t get enough of the Italian treat’s rich, creamy center, let us introduce: Cannoli Dip. This deconstructed dessert takes one of the best parts of the classic cannoli — the sweet, decadent filling — and turns it into a dippable treat perfect for fruits, waffle cookies, or practically anything! Whether you’re looking for an easy dip recipe to give your party a touch of sweet or a no-bake summer dessert for your next bash, whip up this creamy cannoli dip to keep your guests dipping and dunking all night long.
To make this dessert as quick and easy as possible, leave your ricotta out to drain in advance — an hour before serving or refrigerated overnight for day-before prep. This way when you’re ready to serve, simply puree all your ingredients together and fold in the chocolate chips for a dessert ready in 10 minutes max. Need a no-bake dessert you can make in advance? This dip can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours before serving time, making it perfect for party-planning. Tip: Wait to fold in the chocolate chips until it’s time to eat to avoid any potential chocolate mixing into the sweet ricotta dip. For an extra-soft treat, let the refrigerated mixture sit out for 10-30 minutes at room temp for maximum dippabibilty.
Rich and creamy with bites of chocolate, this dip is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at your next get-together. Serve with waffle cookies, fresh fruit or even broken up waffle cones for an extra-sweet treat. Be prepared: With a dip this delicious, it’s bound to go fast!
