Cranberry Simple Syrup
Make your own to mix into cocktails all season.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups
cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup
sugar
- 1 1/2 cups
water
Directions
In small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer (without stirring); simmer until sugar dissolves and cranberries break down, 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat; let cool to room temp. Strain through sieve into heatproof bowl, pressing down on solids; discard solids. Pour into bottles for giving; refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
