This herbaceous, tahini-packed (and vegan-friendly!) dip is perfect for spreading on toast or pairing with crunchy veggies. The flavors need time to meld in the fridge, so plan to make the dip a few hours before serving, or even a day in advance.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup
- 1 cup
basil leaves, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup
parsley (including tender stems), roughly chopped
- 1/2 oz.
chives, roughly chopped
- 1/2 tsp.
grated lemon zest, plus 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp.
olive oil
- 1 tsp.
pure maple syrup
Kosher salt and pepper
Veggies and sliced baguette, for dipping
Directions
In food processor, process tahini, herbs, lemon zest and juice, oil, maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and 1/4 cup water, scraping down bowl as needed, until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving with veggies and sliced baguette.
